Re: What's Your Favorite Website?

Necropost apologies but I did want to share this as it has consumed my morning.

Re: Mii's Great Pokemon Replay

Took a bit longer than planned due to... all of that. But here were are again!

I'm partway through the post-game now (caught the box legendary and stuff).

BW2, sadly, as I don't have BW itself. It still works well enough to get me that gen's pokemon though ...

Re: local restaurants

I haven't been to eat, but it looks like the Jamaican place is authentic ramen. I'm curious if the menu has some interesting side options (rice and peas, or patties, or something else). It seems to be very well regarded in the neighbourhood - every time I've gone by there's people waiting outside ...

Re: Moving Blues

It's been almost a month and it's still kind of weird, though a lot of that is just the depression. Bad time of year to try to change things. I've been making do.

I still miss the old stuff quite dearly. The work itself is fine, it's remarkably stress-free. I come home every day not being ...

local restaurants

To deal with the depression kicking my butt I've been taking time to make myself go wandering around to see what's nearby. I've found a few pretty cool places so far.

- a tiny hole in the wall Thai place that's probably the best Thai food I've ever had just a block away
- endless numbers of Indian ...

Re: Moving Blues

Four more days till da move

Thankfully I got most things done already so the next few days are waiting for people to take stuff away for recycling/disposal, and final cleaning.

Still feels weird. I have a lot of "why did it come to this" kind of feelings. I liked things a lot here. I'm sad that I ...

MARSHMALLOWSSSS

Gotta make up some presents so I thought to do something easy that looks impressive: marshmallows! They are so, so very easy... so easy in fact that I feel like everyone should be able to have marshmallows whenever they want. So, here is the easiest marshmallow recipe in the world.

1 cup water
4 1 ...

Re: Moving Blues

Thankfully now that most of the stuff is done (just need to set up the cancellation/inspection date for my gas, but I had to wait for the metre slip first, and they even said that up to a week before the move-out date is fine) so the stress has eased off there at least. Still have the remaining bits ...

Re: Your go-to breakfast!

Shakshuka is great everyone should eat it aaaaaa

One time I did a bunch of holiday baking so I bought a huge thing of eggs... so I needed to find a way to use them up quickly. Thus started my adventures in shakshuka and I have never looked back.
