Your go-to breakfast!

Post by azaelya »

What are you guys eating for breakfast these days?

While I used to just go for Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, I've been trying to stay away from cereal as I get older. Instead, I've been making a bowl of rice (Jasmine for this) mixed with soy sauce and sliced/steamed spinach with an egg on top! I like when the egg is cooked just enough for the whites to be firm, but the yolk is runny and coats everything else.

Oh yeah!! Oh man this looks so good. I should try to make a goal to eat more savory foods in the morning.

I tend to cook most mornings but it's usually eggs and toast. I make really good scrambled eggs and over easy eggs. This morning we just had yogurt with granola that Hilary's Mom made for us though.

Unfortunately the image is gone now. I think it's because you used discord? There was a period where hyper linking did work with discord, but it only works for a moment now. I suggested a couple places for image uploading on the info page.

!!! this actually sounds really good and easy for breakfast, I will be noting it for the future, thank you!

my go-to breakfast is usually a big cup of sweet coffee with cream + a... wait, I gotta check what it's called in english. Uhh... store bought cottage cheese casserole or syrniki (cottage cheese little pancackes fried in a pan, if that makes sense lol). May also have a sandvich or something from the bakery instead. I know it's a lazy one, but I often lack energy to make breackfast during the work week.
on the weekends though my fav thing to go to is omelette! I adore it, make it with different topings, ham the most often one, but also cheese, tomatoes and whatever other veggies I have available that could fit in there.

OHHH!! I've never had syrniki!! I'm pretty sure I've heard of it but never had it. Might be fun to try to make lol. I feel like breakfast should be lazy unless if you want to do something special! That way it's easy to make sure you eat.

I've never been good at making omelettes, but they're such a good way to pack in some extra veggies.

I really want to try to make shakshuka for breakfast some time.

Shakshuka is great everyone should eat it aaaaaa

One time I did a bunch of holiday baking so I bought a huge thing of eggs... so I needed to find a way to use them up quickly. Thus started my adventures in shakshuka and I have never looked back.
