snorlax bunnyhug! hooray!

Post by mii »

I've been lazy about posting it anywhere so I only now got around to uploading pics but.

My coworker got me some cute pajamas for a birthday present so I was thinking about doing something clothing-related for her but wasn't sure what to do... until I got the idea to make her a snorlax bunnyhug! I managed to find some nice fuzzy fabric in approximately the right colours (best I could do) and it came together very quickly. I'm pretty proud of it, this is the first actual self-made clothing gift I've given someone.

The fluff was surreal, I was covered in bits of fluff and it was EVERYWHERE. It took a while to clean it up, and I had to go over the thing inside and out to get as much loose fluff as I could. Worth it, though!

Wow, that looks amazing, you did such a good job! The seams look clean. They're going to love it! And stay nice and warm because of it, too. Win/win! :)
After these messages we'll be riiiight back.

I worked pretty hard to make sure that the seams were clean and everything lined up properly. I was actually surprised how quickly it went together too, the first time I ever made a bunnyhug it felt like it took forever, and I had a sewing machine to help at that point too.

I'm hoping to do more, smaller, sewing crafts this year - it's one of the low-pressure resolutions I made. I like sewing stuff and I did like no casual sewing last year. Sads.
