I made these for one of my best friends for Christmas (after a whole series of mini disasters that made a ten minute process turn into an hour), and not only did they love it, but I enjoyed snacking on the leftovers as well!

One thing I do suggest, something that made the cookies go from good to phenomenal, was to add allspice to the frosting. While the original recipe's frosting was sweet, the allspice really highlights the pumpkin of the cookie itself, making the two flavors compliment each other.
